Recently built this smoker in the middle of nowhere close to Central Thailand. Been here for years but just now got around to building one. As you can see the metal work is not done yet.

Looking at the firebox.

Trying to collect wood to smoke is a pain in the butt. You ain't in Kansas any more Dorothy...

Any suggestions on my project?

Try it and let us know!

Hang a piece of plywood over the opening to the smoke chamber and fire her up with a yardbird in the CC.

Great looking build. While you might have a period of adjustment (but don't all good marriages?) to learn its eccentricities as most of us do with our smokers, I think you're gonna really enjoy it.

Looks awesome!!   Be sure to let your masonry cure out before you fire it up to full temp.  ( 30-45 days)

Looking forward to see in in action!!

Still haven't tried it out yet as this is Thailand...

The metal worker was to have been here over a week ago plus the rainy season has set in.
