Greetings fellow smokers! I have been smoking meats for only 3 years now and am in LOVE. Over the years I have read these forums for tips and advice and would like to thank you guys for getting me started. I figured it's time I sign up and start making some smoking friends.
I am working with the Brinkmann Gourmet Charcoal Smoker and it fits my needs perfectly for now. Being in Chicago I have limited space in the back yard, so anything bigger won't work for now. So far I have smoked Boston Butts(Pulled Pork, this is my favorite to smoke and eat! ) Bison, Shrimp, Baby back Ribs, Beef Short Ribs,Spicy Maple Pork belly, Jerked chicken, Burgers, and more Shrimp!
My next attempt is to smoke Brisket but I'm not sure if I am ready :/
Anyone in the northside of Chicago that wants to get together and smoke some meats????
