Hello fellow smokers......
New to this site and relatively new to smoking as well. I am from Oklahoma City, OK and have a Master Built electric smoker that I have been working with for the past few months. I found this site by accident when looking for a brine recipe for my first smoked chicken. Enjoy all the posts and advice! So many creative ideas and help on this site!
Hope to be a regular contributor as I learn more and more about smoking and the "art" of the perfect smoked meal! Thanks to all of you, my first attempt at a small brisket was a resounding success. Learned about the "stall" and the "Texas crutch" and as a result, my fourth of July dinner was drop dead delicious! without the advice I know that I would have produced a tough, dry waste of meat....and would have ended up having to take the wife out to dinner instead of enjoying the fireworks with a fine meal!
Thanks again for all the help and advice!
