Hello all!

My first post here...

How do you do keep the bacon on the chicken breast thoughout the bbq process? I have tried toothpicks but the bacon eventually shrivels away from the toothpick and starts falling off. After a couple of turns and coats of bbq sauce the bacon is just about completely off the chicken.

Any ideas, oh wise ones?

Thanks!

Try Thick Cut with a tooth pick. Start seam up, until IT hits 130. Brush with sauce and turn. When IT hits 150°F, brush with sauce and finish the cook. You are turning the chicken too much...JJ

You could also try meat glue. Physically bonds the bacon to the chicken so it stays put. I've had good luck with it on bacon wrapped chicken.
It's available on Amazon. The 2oz package actually lasts quite a while.
