my last attempt didn't pan out as my smoker went belly up so we had to finish in oven.
got my new upgraded smoker (thank you warranty) and I finally got to it.
small cut (around 4 lbs), light rub of garlic and onion salt with some Jack Daniels beef rub, wrapped tight overnight then went low and slow at 225 for about 11 hours till I/T was 185ish then pulled and rested till it hit 190
used Jack Daniels chips and jack & water in tray
came out tender and moist
