Having to work at 3:30 AM today i got my smoking out of the way yesterday. 3 butts each between 4-5.5 pounds. Rub was put on Saturday night, threw them on the smoker about 11 and by yesterday evening they were ready to go. Shredded wonderfully and tasted pretty darn good. For being my second time I have to admit, I'm fairly proud of how they turned out. Into the fridge they went and will be put out later today for friends and family. I think I'm starting to like this hobby. I wanted to share a few pics, especially of my smoker. It was built by my late brother in law and I couldn't be prouder to be putting it back into use.
