I installed a 2nd temp gage on my Weber Smokey Mountain so I could monitor the temp closer to the area where my meat is cooking instead of the top of the lid. The temp gage down on the barrel is reading 200 while the gage on top of the lid is reading 235. Odd since the one on the barrel is closer to the heat source. What do I make of this?
