Does anyone have the problem of the vents on the Treager Jr Bbq blackening whatever is behind them, is there any modifications you can do to the vents so this doesn't  happen. I don't want to move my bbq but my house is turning brown.

thanks

Val

Pictures of where the smoke is coming out of would help...  Pics of the exhaust and how it is working...

Looks like that is where the exhaust is designed to come out of the smoker....     Move it when you use it, then move it back......   OR.....   Get a new Treager that has an exhaust stack....

I agree with Dave. It's the nature of the beast.

I have the same unit its about 2 feet(when lit) from the wall, no problem. I suggest you move it out but don't face the back or pellet box side into the wind, this will interfere with the lit pellets. also always remove ash after each cook(when they cool) I use a shop vac.
