Smoked Thighs and corn!

Trying out some smoked thighs and corn, some foiled some soaked in water to see the difference.

Chick thighs are rubbed in EVOO and a lil creole rub.





I have one question, I understand you need to take poultry to or above 165 IT. Does that make it safe from all aspects?
I have a pregnant wife and was just checking.

Yes your wife should be fine with the chicken. Looks tasty,do you not like the skin?

I'm normally a skin is a must guy!

But unfortunately when the fat rendered out under the skin the rub left a lot of salt on it.
I did eat a couple with skin on but took the rest off for wife and kids.

Gonna try a different rub next time so I can enjoy that crunchy skinny goodness!
