Hello from the foothills of California!

The forecast is calling for 100+ today and most of the next week so the Masterbuilt 40" has been put into service to keep as much heat outside as possible.  Although I consider myself a fairly good cook I am new to smoking only a little over a year but have always had a love for it.  Love reading all the tips and receipts here!  Thank you for having me.

danelleah1, welcome to SMF!  Saying howdy from down in the Roseville flatlands.  Earlier today I looked at my WSM sitting in the sun.  It hasn't been used in more than a week and it was reading 130F!  In the shade of a tree now it is still reading 115F.  Ahhhhh, the joys of a high pressure system in NorCal.

We're glad you are enjoying all the tips and stories.  There is so much experience here with your smoker.  Have fun and jump right into the discussions as you turn meat into something memorable!

Glad you are here,

Ray
