Well I have been lurking here for quite some time, just watching builds and wanting one of my own.  Never could find a fridge to build out of though.  Didn't want to spend Hundreds just to rip it to bits, but I finally (at the last minute) found a couple of fridges at a local estate auction.  Bought them both, and now deciding which to work with.

The Gibson (on right) needs a lot more body work, but has a lot more style and space so that's where I'm leaning, maybe make the smaller one into a cold smoker....  The Gibson weighs a metric ton but would be a fairly unique build I think.  Anyone worked with either?  I'm planning on pellet firing, now I can call an order my hopper tomorrow..  woo hoo!

Go with the larger of the two. On some good heavy duty Castor wheels and it will move really easily

I did decide to go with the bigger one, it's just got so much style, and bigger is better isn't it?
