Best Digital 2 probe wireless thermometer set? That can wirelessly go far with temp readings

I am looking for a reliable meat thermometer set. I want the kind where the one thermometer will go into the smoker to read the temperature of inside the smoker, and the other into the meat. And want a set where the other device i can walk away with inside or wherever and have it tell me wirelessly what both temps are so I don't have to keep going in and out to check the temps. Please someone help.I had a maverick two probe set and it was a piece of junk. I could bearly go like ten feet away from the smoker before it stopped wirelessly working.

Which Maverick did you have?

Mine works quite well.

If price doesn't matter you may want to look at a Tappecue, it will work with your iPhone.

Maverick ET-73, it was such a hunk of junk....I keep reading about the ET 7-33. From the reviews its really good. I was looking into the Igrill2 but from reviews it looks to be a piece of crap. I just want something i can set in the meat and smoker and walk away inside not that far and have a good temp reading on the remote device from inside.

The newer ET 732 or 733 have a much better range than the old 73.

I have the 732 & it works fine from inside the house.

Tappecue - but its spendy and you need wifi access that can reach the unit (which typically isn't a problem).  Absolutely love mine.

I have a maverick the new one... it works well and i havent had a problem with it working. But i find it hard to use and the light dosnt stay on for very long it always turns off on me when iam trying to set the darn thing.

Ive just brought tappecue but i havent recieved it yet. But all the reveiws ive read is good on the tappecue.

Maverick probably has 75 percent good reveiws and igrill seams more like 50 50

I like the tappecue coz it has 4 probes.

Strange. Most folks swear by their Mavericks. I have a 733 and it is flawless. I love the high and low temp set. I smoke in the back yard and can go upstairs, downstairs and even in the garage and front yard without problem. I can get probes at my local Ace Hardware. Got about 7 all day smokes on the same batteries so far.

I had 2 Weber styles and they can't compete.
