Pulled the smoker out for a quick smoke of some BBQ chicken. Set it up@ 275 with some hickory, pecan and cherry. Turned out deliciously juicy, the wife couldn't compliment it enough. Got some q-views to drool over for you all.
Thank Mike I appreciate the compliment, went a little heavy with the rub this time next time I'll go a bit lighter. I keep wanting to try my own rub but the commercial stuff breaks out to be much cheaper. The chicken had a really smooth smokey flavor that just complimented the BBQ sauce, toasted up some hard rolls with a pat of butter all in all it was a win for a "Could you make dinner tonight" moment.
