Ok so up until now I've only had gas grills. Those days are over. I've got my choices narrowed down to a few smokers/grills. Choice 1
Kamado Joe big joe
Choice 2
Yoder offset or something similar. Not a cheap Wally World offset.
Choice 3
Backwoods chubby g2

I'm not really cooking for a ton of people but would like to be able to cook for family get togethers. 10-15 people max. Really wanting to do some briskets, ribs, chickens and such. Most of the time though I'll just be cooking for 5. Looking for something that will last. I could probably just get something else for burgers and dogs. Just looking for your opinions. Especially if you have experience with any of these cookers. Not really into pellet grills.

I don't have any of these, but I am a big fan of offsets. I've used mine for burgers and dogs AND slow and Lower. I also think they look classic when guests are over. The past few months I've fired up offset to finish briskest and pork butt. Let me know how it goes!
Shameless brag for some refinishing of my 10 year old Bar-B-Chef offset!

Why not a WSM 22.5.

Plenty of room for 4 to 6 butts.

No mods needed, ready to smoke right out of the box.

Holds temps all day long.

Throw a BBQ Guru on it & it's set & forget.

Mine will run 20+ hours without adding wood or charcoal.

Since I have 2 KJs, my vote for the big joe. Goes from low/slow to sear. Pretty much set and forget for temp control.

Just put a deposit on a xl bge demo model. Great deal. Thanks everyone I'll have my egg in a couple months and will be sure to post some pics of my first cook.
