How ya'll doin''?? Name's Ken Davis and I'm new to the smoking meat world. Living in Texas I think it might be a requirement to know how to smoke meat. I have tried a few things on my own but now I want to get better at the craft, so any and all help will be appreciated. I have already made a few modifications to my horizontal smoker and see by checking out this forum i need to made a few more. So thanks in advance for suggestions and help.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a sunny and hot day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Hello Ken, welcome to you.

Ask a question and you will get an answer.

There are literally hundreds of years of smoking experience on here.

Best of all, folks that are all willing to share their recipes and process with you.

There is one thing you always need to remember, HAVE FUN.
