Good morning all. Just wanted to post a pic of the brisket I just put on. I sure want to thank all of you. I've sure learned a lot. I'll be sure to put a pic of the finished product and let you know how it tastes. image.jpeg 2232k .jpeg file

image.jpeg 1676k .jpeg file Thanks! It took a while to pick one out. I got it at the HEB in Beaumont. Trimmed it a little. I've always used either mesquite or pecan. But I read on here a lot use oak. So I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. I've been able to control the pit temp a lot better. I also have some cherry wood chunks I add a little at a time. So far so good.
