Hello Steve, Welcome to you.

You might want to jump out into the forums and go down

the list to brick or stone smoker builds.

Think you will get a better response out there.

Remember pictures of your build are good things.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Basically the wife wanted to buy a grill BBQ and I've convinced her that smoking and building it myself is best (fingers X) I'm off and running with the build and plan a small starter version, brick smoker, grill and side kitchen with roof. It may take some time but I'll keep u posted on how it's going and any tips welcome. Then the meat feast can hopefully begin!

Hi Steve. What are you looking to use for heat? Charcoal/wood or gas?

Hay, concrete base down and got a few courses up. Using reclaimed clay brick and gonna line with inch fire bricks for extra toasty'ness. It's wether to get doors made first and fit with fire bricks or finish it then get doors made?? Prob gonna use coal and wood
