Glad to be here. Happened upon this site while looking at reviews of Kamado Ceramic Charcoal Smokers, and saw that my large-sized Grill Dome had no reviews, and that to post one, I needed to join. Look forward to learning more about this beloved hobby of mine.

Also, I'd like to take this moment to vent a little. You see, my wife of 33 years decided to become a vegetarian a few short months ago, and this has left saddened, nonplussed, and admittedly, a bit lost. She still eats fish, so perhaps I'll get some help using my smoker in that area.

Hey Al!

Yep, that's on the menu, though my wife is more a fan of salmon than I am. I'd love to find something akin to a "fish roast" (like a standing rib roast, for example), that I could smoke and then slice into steaks or cutlets.

Be good!

Sad to hear. But maybe once she smells the sweet aroma of the food your cooking. Maybe she might come back to the meat besides fish. Not that it is bad. Hang in there. Meat or not. You've been together a long time. Glad your with us. Just keep showing her all the delicious food coming out of it.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a on and off rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Maybe you can bring her back when she see and smells all the good stuff coming off your smoker
