Lang Twin Long Neck Smoker and Brunswick Stew Package
For sale: A Lang Twin 84” long neck with a lot of accessories. This smoker was purchased in October, 2012, brand new from Lang Smokers in Nahunta Georgia. The smoker has been used to cook at festivals, fundraisers and special events. This smoker has also been used in several BBQ competitions resulting in several first place and one Grand Champion title. It has been well maintained with no rust and fire boxes have been kept painted and cared for. The smoker is kept under a shelter. This is a small and profitable part time business which is only being sold due to full time job demands which I have.
The smoker comes with the following accessories that have been added by the owner:
Food Grade Stainless Steel Shelving on both sides of the smoker
Heavy duty Tradesman storage box
Propane tank and large propane cooker with heat shields
Stainless Steel sink wash station with on demand pump system with water tank and gray water capture tank
Commercial grade fire bricks lining the bottom of the fire box
Original spare tire and wheel (exact mate to the original tires on smoker)
Brunswick Stew Pot – 40 gallon converted Steam Kettle with oil jacket and propane gas burner with top.
Entire unit sets on 4 heavy duty casters for mobility
The unit has a crack handle where the entire pot section lifts out of the frame for ease of cleaning and removal of food.
Stainless Steel stirrer with 110v heavy duty motor
LEM Meat Grinder #22, 1 HP unit with many accessories.
Potential profit from unit depending on market price of meat:
The Smoker will comfortably smoke three 200 to 250 pond whole hogs that have been split. Bottom rack holds the whole hog split open (butter flyed) and the top rack will hold half hog split.
The smoker will smoke 70 large pork butts at once. Pork Butts cost approx $11.00 each, totaling $770.00 in cost and selling 70 whole butts for $30.00 each equaling a sale of $2,100.00; therefore resulting in a profit of approx. $1,330.00
The approximate cost of making a Brunswick Stew this size depending on market cost of meat is $400.00. With approximately 38 gallons of stew which will equal approximately 152 quarts at $8.00 a quart is $1.216.00; therefore resulting in an approx. profit of $816.00.
These are all estimates but are very close and even more on profit in which I have made off of this setup.
