Good Evening!

I live in a small coastal city of Ventura along the Pacific Ocean in southern California.

Always wanted to smoke meat but was told by a lot of people it was too difficult. However, I saw a Traeger Junior Elite at Costco on sale. The sales guy convinced me it was super easy to use. So now I am a proud owner of a tiny wood pellet grill and am looking for all tips I can get so I put that baby to good use.

Cooked a chicken on that grill a few days ago and it came out real nice. Next thing I want to try this Memorial day weekend is a "simple" jerk-sauced baby back ribs.

I am an Engineer by trade and work for a multi-national company (Bruker Corporation) that focuses on making scientific instruments. They make everything from MRIs to X-ray machines, When I am not at work, I am generally playing with my 2-year old in the backyard or playing golf.

Have a great grilling weekend.

Welcome to you.

Glad you found this site, for the folks telling you it's

to hard to smoke meats.

You just kind of smile and offer them a taste, they will become believers.

Hey, I'll bet you that one of these guys could figure out a way to

turn an MRI machine into a smoker.

Enjoy.
