I am definitely new to smoking meat. Last summer I purchased a Vault 24 as a way to learn the basics. I have had success with smoking pork butt and loin ribs. So far, I have only used Pecan wood, which has turned out well.
I have joined this forum to try and learn as much as I can about the wonderful hobbie of meat smoking. I hope to eventually be able to share my experiences and learn from others. So far, I have reviewed quite a few forum threads and have determined that there are many posters here with great insight and knowledge. I look forward to many more years of smoking and enjoying making wonderfully flavorful dishes for my family.
