Got the chamber mounted time to start on the firebox, quick question though I've seen the air dampers on fireboxes be on the very back of the firebox and I've also seen them on the sides, which is preferred?

Hey bro I have the same cylinder do you think h can send me the blue print or at least the measurements please for an idea thanks and it looks awesome

Rudy, not going off of any plans the only dimensions I have is the tank is 24" X I believe 67", 120 gallon air tank

I did a build with vents on the side, works amazing. I guess its how you want it set up, i made a circle with two triangles, much like a lang, one is above the grate and one is below, love it.

Nice build so far, do you mind sharing how you did your door stops?
I have a friend who wants double doors to cut door weight an avoid counter weights, but
is asking me to help with a door stop setup different from mine.

Thanks in advance

Doorstops were made out of 1/8" x 2" flat bar, just clamped them to the door and tacked it all the way around

well I started in the middle, tried having 2 inches in between the door and a 22" door, this left too much on the ends, so I ended up putting 3" in between the door cause it looked better, then went 3 inches from the outside weld, and that's how I came up with an odd size door of 23-3/4". Does this answer your question?

Not really, let me rephrase.   When you open the cook chamber doors all the way open, do you have door stops that prevent opening the door past a certain point?  If so, please describe or show images of how you accomplish this task.  I have a stop bar attached to the back of the cook chamber that stops my door.  Attached is how I stop mine.  I found a rubber bumper stop today and installed it, so this pic does not show the rubber bumber in it because it rained right after I installed it.  I am wanting to learn how others do this task, so on my next build I feel like I am using the best solution.   Thanks!

Ohh I gotcha, I actually kind of got fortunate with this part because I messed up my door hinges somehow and when you see my doors open up that's actually as far as the hinges allow it before binding up. There are many different types of door stops I've seen and not a fan of any of them, what my plan was originally use the two ports just past the door, thread a pipe into with an emblems I love the most, state of Texas and a star, making those be the door stops, if this doesn't make sense just pm me and I can explain better
