Home Depot Brinkman Trailmaster Sellout

I was picking up a few things at the Home Depot in Brockton Mass Friday and they were selling Vertical Brinkman Trailmasters for $49 and Horizontal Trailmasters for $149, I don't know if the are selling off the surplus Trailmasters for that cheap at all Home Depots but I bought one of each anyway for that Price. We use a modified Vertical Trailmaster for cooking our Chicken at comps, so my buddy wanted to grab a second one and modify it the same way for cooking at home !!

I suspect that sale is linked to Brinkmann declaring bankruptcy last fall.  The last I heard they weren't accepting returns or honoring warranties anymore.

Thet're not Honering returns etc, But most people Mod them anyway,so no warrenty, A trailmaster is basically the same as an Oklahoma Joe. But for those prices they are a Bargain.

Wimpy 69, These are not Gas Grills !! They are the Heavy Gauge Trailmaster Limited edition Wood And Charcoal Smokers, The horizontal Trailmaster is Basically the same as an Oklahoma Joe Horizontal, Most guy modify them with deflector and tuning plates which would void va warrenty anyway, there is not much reason for a charcoal smoker to have warrenty issues anyway, the verticals used to be $159, Sale $49 the Horizontals were $299, Sale $149, A cheap smoker for someone starting out that cook great with minor modifications. I use a Modified Vertical Trailmaster to cook my Chicken in competitions.

Yes, I know, but at those discount prices for anyone shying away from getting a gasser thought it would help with purchase. That's all. Both my local home depots are discounting their gasser also.

At those prices I agree that the bankruptcy is not a big deal.  I need another smoker about like I need another hole in the head but I'll tyr to swing by the local HD today.  Come to think of it, if she finds another smoker in the shop I might just get that hole in the head.....
