I have used fruit woods for years. Here is my question I have noticed an older apricot tree draining sap, I put some on foil and sat it on a small campfire it produced a dense flavorable smoke. If I was to get a fair amount of this resin sap on heavey foil could I use it to flavor the meat

Hello and welcome to you, I think I'll let someone that

knows more about it than I do answer your question.

I'm pretty new to this myself.

You might get more response to it if you post your

question out in the general discussion area though.

I personally think I would try it though, maybe on something

cheap like chicken.

Enjoy.

:welcome1: to the forum.

We are happy to have you with us.

I can't help you with your question either.

Hopefully if you post it in the general discussion area, someone more knowledgeable will have an answer for you.
