I have used fruit woods for years. Here is my question I have noticed an older apricot tree draining sap, I put some on foil and sat it on a small campfire it produced a dense flavorable smoke. If I was to get a fair amount of this resin sap on heavey foil could I use it to flavor the meat

I'm pretty new to this myself.

You might get more response to it if you post your

question out in the general discussion area though.

I personally think I would try it though, maybe on something

cheap like chicken.
