Howdy everyone. My name is Rex. I live in Tahlequah, OK. I have a Smoke Hollow Pro Series 44" LP Gas Smoker that I am hoping to convert to natural gas. I've seen some threads here about it, but not sure anyone has actually done it so I would appreciate any tips on how to successfully get it done. I am the son of a woman who used to own a popular BBQ joint here in Oklahoma. I took her secret recipe for rubs and tweaked them a bit to make them my own. Have owned several charcoal water smokers and this is my second gas smoker and love the capacity and temp control it gives me. Personally, if done right and changing out wood chips for fresh ones every hour, I can't taste a difference between charcoal and gas. I've had rave reviews for my brisket, ribs, and turkey, but it's my beans that I also smoke that people can't seem to get enough of.
