I am a rookie smoker,1 Pork Loin under my belt,came out juicy taste very good. I have a Cajun Injector Electric Smoker,it says never put more than a 1/4 cup of chips in at a time. What I have read about adding chips you add when the smoker quits smoking, I added a total of 2 cups of chips in a 3 hour smoke at 225 deg.is this normal? Can I put more than a 1/4 cup in the smoke box in the beginng so I can just let the smoker roll on without me constantly putting in chips?

I can't answer your question 'cause I know nothing about

that smoker, but someone will be along shortly I'm sure.
