As the title states I am doing a brisket for the mother in law as she requested.

Started with a CAB Brisket around 14lbs. Got her for 2.68/lb. Trimmed out around 11lbs.

Rubbed with simple salt and pepper and a light sprinkle of Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Here it is getting good started.
