Hello VA Smokers! New to the forum and smoking in general.  Been trying to master ribs and I think I've got that down.  I've got an Oklahoma Joe offset setup and am being pressed by my family to try smoking a suckling pig.  Anybody know where to get one in Northern VA and what kind of wood to use? I've been using hickory of late but I'm told that's to strong.  Where do I find wood?  The usual suspects (Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc) don't have anything in stock.

Once that is set there's the question of size of the pig, how long to smoke it and of course prep'ing the beast.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
