Hi Richie!
Great looking hams!
Tell me about your Pit master 110, why is it not working? How long have you had it? Do you like it and why?
I have been considering a 110, 120, or a 130 for my WSM 221/2" for some time now, but really have a hard time justifying paying close to 2/3 the price of my WSM for the 130 and almost 1/2 the price for the 120. The 110 lacks some of the features that the newer modals have that I think could be useful.
Being able to set it and forget it is of course the best reason to buy any of them, But an alarm that informs me when it's not recovering is important when a sharp kick to one of the legs is needed to drop the ashes as is sometimes required. I am not to concerned about runing out of fuel as my WSM easily holds a 18 pound bag charcoal that lasts 18 to 20 hours. What do you think would you buy one again? And which one would you buy?
Thanks,
Randy,
Randy It plain out did not work, the fan came on when first plugged in.It never came back on my lid probe is verified, I had to use the vents and regulate the air my self.Ordered a BBQ Guru yesterday

Great looking ham Richie.  Did the cloves add a lot of flavor?

I've done a couple Dbl smoked hams but never thought to try cloves.

Point!

Yours was a good bit bigger than mine.

Clove gave a little taste on the outside edge.My cloves were old so that did not help. Thanks for the Point

Did you post that Gary,we had plenty of meat come off that bone, very filling. Thanks for the points

Nah, I didn't post it, but it sure was good.  I like a little meat in my beans. We always try to save a few chunks of ham to go with the bone, or a little pulled pork or chopped brisket Yum !!
