It has a blower fan that adds air to the fire when needed to keep the temp stable. It will keep the temp + or - 3 degrees as long as there is fuel to burn. I've gone 22 hours with my WSM with the GURU without adding any charcoal or wood. You get a worry free nights sleep. Al
