hello all. im from Louisiana but now live in east texas. im all new to the whole smoking way of cooking but love it and trying to learn different ways of doing it. my first order of business is I want to build a smoke house off my outdoor patio( the outhouse looking ones) so my first question is, what is the normal size of the base for building one? and which is better building the fire box right under the smoke house or to the side and running a pipe into the house?
