I've smoked a few other things, like fatties, pork butt and wings but I've never had the chance to smoke ribs. SO I picked up a rack from my local grocery store and decided to give it a go. I Put the ribs on about 9 am local time and will keep this thread updated with additional pictures as I take them. I will probably do the 2-2-1 method since they are baby backs.

Here are the ribs before coating

After overnight rubbed with rib rub

and on the smoker

Will add updates as they come in.

*first update*

Put the ribs in foil. Didn't have any apple juice so I added some beer. Same color as apple juice right.

I also had a small part of ribs that I cut off and am gonna try them without foil.

Alright finally got the time to finish posting the photos.

Here they are after the 2 hours in the foil. They felt super tender a this point.

After another hour on the the grill. They were slathered with Dinosuar BBQ sauce.

Off the grill and resting

And sliced up after resting.

They were great. They were super tender and juicy. They were right in between fall of the bone and still having some bite to them which is exactly what I was looking for and how I like my ribs. I like it when you bite into them and the meat comes off cleanly but not all of it comes off.
