Have just upgraded my mes30 w/amnps too a full size traeger pellet grill!
Spring is almost upon us up here in the north and would love to know your favorite recipe for the pellet grill. Being that it replaced my propane bbq, everything that was recently bbq'd will also be cooked on the traeger.
Interested in all ideas,
Pulled pork/beef
How you do your steaks
Ribs
Sausage
Burgers
Salmon
Even jerky

The main thing I'm concerned for is temperatures and what kind of timeline it takes. Not asking for your secret recipe down to the tablespoon of salt. Just looking for great ideas to start experimenting with.
Thanks!

Congrats on the new Pellet Pooper! You have a very versatile machine. You can go low and slow, hot and fast or sear and grill. Any recipe you find here can be done on a pellet grill. Low and slow pork butts for pulled pork is done the same as any smoker. Rub and smoke at 225°F until probe tender, around 2 hours per pound and an IT of 205°F.  Hot and fast Turkey again the same as other smokers, 325°F for 20 minutes per pound to an IT of 165 in the Breast and 175 in the Thigh, about 15 per if Spatchcocked. 1 1/4" Rib Steak, crank the grill up to max, add some Montreal Steak Seasoning and sear about 6-7 minutes per side for Med/Rare. The biggest issue you will find is, as the Temp goes up, Smoke production goes way down. You are probably going to have to supplement with another smoke generator. Unfortunately your AMNPS will probably not breathe well enough to be used. A lot of pellet guys get a A-MAZE-N Tube, the Expandable one is nice, to supplement smoke or add some other smoke injector like a Smoke Daddy. Do a search for a meat you want to play with and follow the Temps and Times that the author had success with. If you are looking for a specific Rub or Sauce recipe, post your request of shoot me a PM and I will be glad to help...JJ

I have a treager and I agree with chef JJ I use the expandable tube when I want more smoke. I also got the sear grates they make searing things like steaks and hamburgers easy. They work much better then the grates that comes with it. Low and slow or doing chicken I use the grate that's in it. Searing I use the grill grates
