Hello all,

I put up a thread about Prime rib being on sale so i had to buy a few. and if i bought a few i had to smoke and eat one!

Here is a couple a i bought

Here is the other one i bought after i put some seasoning on it. (3 parts garlic powder 2 parts kosher salt 1 part black pepper)

I let that sit in the fridge over night....

Then the next morning, I put a probe thermometer in it and put it on my smoker!

(the one next to it is a picnic pork for some pulled pork Sunday)

I had it to 129 degrees IT after 1 hour and 45 minutes. so i pulled it and let it rest

i wrapped in foil and wrapped in a towel and put in a cooler for an hour and a half.

later for dinner i pulled it out and go it ready to slice....

And three of the slices for the three of us for dinner

I did do a touch of searing on the ends because my wife asked for reverse sear (and she likes her meat to be more done)

Big hit all around!

Thank you all for looking!

Happy Smoking
