Hello all.  My name is Arthur.  I enjoy grilling and smoked/grilled food is one thing I can always get my kids to eat.  This year I decided to join the smoking world and finally bought my first smoker.  Due to limited time, I opted for a Masterbuilt Electric.  Last weekend I filled the smoker with chicken, which turned out better than I expected for my first go.  I have a pork butt rubbed and sitting in the fridge, ready for tomorrow morning.  When I have more time I will eventually tackle charcoal.

Welcome to SMF, Arthur!

Glad to have you aboard.

There are a lot of MES owners on here to keep you company.

Welcome to the board! Chicken is a good way to start. If you're thinking about charcoal or wood ("sticks") then look around here because there are many different  smokers to choose from, or build. I'm running a barrel type offset.

Welcome to the forum and to your newest favorite hobby.  Lots of useful information on the forum.  And if you don't find it, ask.  There is a wealth of knowledge and experience here.
