I'm Turk (aka Paul) from Cumming, GA. I'm a weekend warrior smoker and have almost perfected my pork butts with my current set up. I'm in the process of moving from a Char-Broil H20 Smoker Deluxe to either an electric or dual fuel smoker (can't decide which to buy). I'm also planning to try my first brisket this weekend.
When I'm not working or smoking, I play rockabilly and country music with a band here in the Atlanta area.
I've been smoking meet for about 8 months now, and I've been pretty happy with the results. I'm also trying to determine what it will take to build a cold smoke generator so that I can start doing some cheeses for my vegetarian wife. (I've argued that pigs and cows are vegetarians so technically the barbecue is vegetarian too but she refuses to try it.)
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know some of you on the boards and learning some new tricks to make things even better.
