Smoking up the Roanoke vally

I'm from West by God VA but have migrated down south into the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. I got in to smoking about tree years ago. I started because of a vid I saw on PBS one day at my mom's after lunch on a Saturday. It put the ideal in my head any ways.

The start to my addiction was in the good all gas and charcoal side by side from the local Walmart. Soon that was not good enough for me so the search started and I found the uds vids on the web and off to the race I was. build a uds and used it for two years, but every time I cooked friend wanted me to cook some for them and I like the ideal of doing things the older ways so I built a wood burning offset smoker. I've used it for about a solid year now and just get more and more serious about this hobby.
