3rd smoking on this newbies new masterbuilt propane smoker. Back to my favorite, tri tip. A last minute run to store after following Dutchs baked beans post, to attempt them, minus the pineapple per the warden.

A coating of dry rub i whipped up on a wim, tossed in about a hour ago. Bit more tinkering with temps as its cool and raining tonight.

ballast point mango even keel (session pale ale) to sip while smoking. A bit of a beer nerd...sessionable beer to avoid over marinating myself lol
 
Thanks. First smoke was First time smoking a tri tip n it came out amazing. Hoping this one is even better as the rub has some heat to it
 
Nice!  I've done Dutch's beans and questioned the pineapple.  You don't taste it, and nobody knew i had it in there.  I do think it adds something to the finished product.  Happy smoking!
