I've been a lurker for a while but finally joined up. I'm from Kentucky and grew up a huge wildcat fan. I started smoking meat in my early teens and have been hooked ever since. I left KY to follow a job that led me to Charleston, SC for a few years where I met my wife. We moved to be closer to her family back in Gainesville, GA where she is from, and that's where we live now. I've learned a lot about BBQ from my travels across the south.
In my day job, I'm a computer forensic investigator, but most of my coworkers know that BBQ is my true passion :)
I had a Lone Star Grillz smoker for several years, but sold it recently and purchased a Lang 60" that I'm hoping to take delivery on here soon. I'm looking forward to chatting with you fine folks.
