Rib Steaks & Sautéed Shrimp (Bear Style)

We had a craving for a good Steak, so I got a couple of Rib Steaks out of my Meat freezer.
After thawing for a couple days in my Fridge, I put them in a Zip lock with some Honey Teriyaki Marinade for a few hours.

Then after Sautéing a Dozen Shrimp in some Butter, I put the Steaks on my Weber “Q”.

Mrs Bear got the Roasted Reds & Broccoli ready & heated up the Sizzle Plates.

The rest is History, and shown below.

After a few hours marinating in “Honey Teriyaki Marinade”, two nice Rib Steaks make it to my Weber “Q” (in the Sun for a change):

Here’s a Closer Look:

A quick look at the inside, before making room for the sides:

So I set a piece aside to make room on my Sizzle Plate for my Steak, Roasted Reds, and Shrimp. Broccoli in a separate bowl to give my Steak elbow room:

Another 5 star post by the Bear.  You can't beat that combo. Everything

looks perfect. We think alike, we both did Ribeye's and Shrimp

the same day, But I forgot to use my sizzle  platter,  Hmmm

Great job Buddy

Looks delicious Bear!

I have to get a couple of those plates.

You know me I like the blood dripping out of my steak, other than that I'd gobble that meal down in a flash.

POINTS for making me hungry & defrosting some shrimp & a rib eye.

And Thanks for the Points!

Thank You Al !!

Yup---I need those plates, because I don't eat as fast as I used to, and I don't like my Hot food to get cold.

And Thanks for the Points!

You ever see the movie "The Cowboy Way"  with Woody Harrelson and Keifer Southerland.

Their Quote in the NY Restaurant

"Oh, just knock its horns off, wipe its nasty a_ _ , and chunk it right here on this plate."

I'd eat that! Love the Sizzle Plates...I made some hand cut 2" Rib Eyes last month. Really good but at $21 per steak and needing 4 at a time, they will be special occasion eats...JJ

That suated shrimps look so nice. I recently tried Rock N Roll Shrimp at Moon Thai Weston. It is a jumbo prawn sauted with homemade sauce served with tasty vegetables.
Thanks!!

That sounds Tasty, but I haven't found a way to make Shrimp that I don't like.

Thanks Jimmy!!

The one inch thick Ribeyes we get are a lot cheaper, and I usually end up with half of Mrs Bear's & some of mine leftover for the next night's supper too.

A great surf and turf! Beautiful!

You do make me jealous with your meals, Bear.

Points for making me drool.
