Let me start by saying it wouldn't have happened without this forum. Thank you to all posters and commented.
9.5 lbs of butt ... 10 hour cook

Dr Pepper pulled pork posted on smoking meats.com

Again thanks for all the advice and tios. Especially how to control temps on a new smoker. 2 attempts so far and I love my 22.5 WSM

It was so soft it literally fell open across the bone.

Chad it is looking good post some pics of the pulled,did you use any finishing sauce?

I had made one finishing sauce but the vinegar was to much for me. So I used the Dr Pepper from the bottom of the pan and added more of the rub to add more flavor.
