Decided to make some wings tomorrow

Right now I have them in a bath of fireball whiskey, snakebite apple cider whiskey, water, kosher salt, and brown sugar.

Tomorrow I will pull them out and put some sort of dry rub a little before smoking

Going to smoke with applewood at 275 then hit on the grill at 550-600 to crisp up

Will post more pics as followed

Hope those flavors come through! But I gs are great one way or the other!

Its will be interesting I've used alot of cider vinegar I said hey why not apple cider whiskey and the fireball was on the counter from the night before so that went in too.

For dry rub I just put together some cinnamon, paprika, brown sugar, chipotle chili pepper, salt
Cant wait to try this out. My prediction is they are either going to be really good or.. Well or I will never make them again

I was at a friends house till 2am and decided when I got home I would drain and put rub on

So rub has been on about 7 hours.

Preheating the smoker and then they will be good to go

Well they turned out really good. The fireball seems to not have really come through all thoughI didn't use as much as I did the apple cider whiskey.

The dry rub I made matched perfect with it as there was just a subtle taste of apple whiskey. I brought out bbq sauce just in case we needed to drown out the flavor but it was not needed at all. Yum! The girlfriend liked it as well!  Would make again
