Hey Y'all !
We hosted a Superbowl Party and as my Lady and I are some of the World's Biggest Bronco's Fans I felt compelled to smoke up a batch of Panther Ribs, some Panther Weinies and some beans to feed the masses.
I rubbed the ribs the night before with a rub I concocted blending what I thought to be the best of several other recipes I found.
Smoked the ribs low n slow at chamber temp of bout 165 using cherry wood chips for 7 hours, 3 open 2 foiled and 2 more open with one basting of sauce after they came outta the foil.
The beans I used a mix of KC Masterpiece Bold n Spicy and a can of Black Beans. Added bacon, brown sugar, onion, green pepper, Serrano pepper, black pepper, Cayanne pepper, a touch of Franks Hot Sauce, mustard and a dash of seasoned salt. Mixed it all up, smoked for bout 5 hours then finished in the oven at 350* for another hour.
Here's a few pics for the Q View...
The Lil Smokies I made into Pigs n Blankets. Half with smoked cheddar I did up 2 months ago and jalapeno peppers, the other half with some Swiss I smoked at that time. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of the lil porky blankys
.
Apologies also for not getting a money shot. When the feast was ready it was GAME ON and feast on with nothing left after.
Also, I have to say, not to discount any Panther fans...I loved the outcome and the game !!!!!!
