Just joined the forum. I'm 28, soon to be 29, and I've been smoking meat with my father ever since I can remember. Currently I use just a Weber kettle grill to do my smoking. When at my dad's house he has a nice Primo ceramic grill that we use. I'm thinking of buying a vertical smoker for myself though any suggestions on something not cheap but won't break the bank either? My specialties I'd say are ribs, Boston butts, and wings. I love trying out new recipes. I also love trying to make my own rubs and sauces. I have an awesome hot sauce I've come with. Anyways thanks for having me I look forward to learning and sharing a lot!

Welcome from SC. Man, you are right in the middle of some awesome BBQ country. It's really good to have you here on this great site. If you're comfortable with your Weber kettle, why not get a WSM to start with.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe

Welcome to SMF!

I agree with Joe, a WSM would be a good smoker to start with. You see them on the BBQ circuit all the time.
