275 gal. fuel oil tank build

Hello all. Rookie from Indiana here. I recently obtained the above mentioned tank. I have been researching this site for a little while as for tips on my layout. I've noticed that you differ from Feldons' sizing. A few questions,

Is the ideal FB to CC opening a 13.5" radius and the segment height 12.5" ?

Is it necessary for a grease drain?

Are my firebox dimensions of 30" H, 30"W, and 26"D adequate?

Is the height of the exhaust measured from the top of the CC or the bottom of the plenum?

I plan on 3 slide out cooking grids using 3/4" #9 expanded metal.

A pull out ash tray in the FB.

Toggle clamps on the CC doors.

Please review my plans and add any changes.

Many thanks,

Jerry

Feldon's didn't allow for enough air flow and the FB overheated...    Exhaust from the top of the CC....   Grease drain sure helps when it comes to cleaning AND if you are cooking 10-30 butts at one time...

I am confused as to the cutout size for the FB to CC opening. The improved calculator has a half moon of 15.5" vertical while another site has 12.5" vertical. Which one is correct?

Thank you,

Jerry

Thought I would show some construction of the current build.

Still need to fabricate firebox doors, dampers, and grate. Cooking chamber doors and exhaust. 5"  castors rated at 330 lbs will be added as well.

Do you think the wheels will be able to handle the weight of the firebox? I'm estimating it at over 440lbs.

Many thanks to you all for posting your builds and ideas to make this possible.

Thought I would show pics of the finished product. It is a tank to move around. Very happy.
