Yes there more holes on the right side, 19 vs 15 left. Why, i have no clue.

I've use my maverick 732's to check my left to righ temps. I really think some over think the temp difference. Yes some were wayyyy off, but if mine are within 25* I'm happy. I will say the higher my set temp, the more its off, but i mostly do low and slow cooks with temps in the 200-240* range. If im searing a steak, i don't care how far there off, I'll use the hottest spot to sear. If im grilling, I'm always at the grill, and if i need to ill rotate the food for a more even cook. Or those the prefer there food well done (shudder at the thought ) I'll put there's on the hotter side.

Does she have any sisters?
She does but she is also married unfortunately.  Nowhere as cool as my wife though so you're not missing out anyway.

So how has the GMG been working out for you?  How does the flavor compare to what you smoked in your MES?  I have a MES and am considering a pellet smoker.

Had a few issues we're still trying to work through but overall I prefer the GMG quite a bit over the MES.  The room and layout alone is worth the price of admission.  Being able to EASILY fit a packer brisket on a the GMG DB is awesome.  There's so many benefits it's hard to list them all here but if you can afford to make the move I highly recommend it even though my experience w/the GMG DB WiFi hasn't been flawless.
