Meat loaf on the Traeger. Loaf pan or no?

Should I use a loaf pan for meat loaf? Not sure how it would do just on the grate.

Went with the loaf pan. Super greasy. Good though. Used Jeff's recipe from the book.

When I did a meatloaf last I made a small foil pan but it was suggested to get a some q-matts from Amezen

Next time start out in a pan & when it sets up then put it on the grate. We have a meatloaf pan that has a lift out grate, so it comes out real easy in one piece.
