Ribs and Beans Kind of Day

Saturday was a cloudy and rainy day, but the forecast for Sunday was supposed to be great.

I ran up to the store and picked up a rack of St. Louis. a small package of CSR's and some Beans.

Sunday:

12:00 PM -  Fired up my smoker and got my beans ready.

12:30 PM -  Pulled ribs out of fridge and started prepping.

1:00 PM  -Smoker steady at 225º Put on the St. Louis

1:30 PM - Put on my beans (under the ribs to catch all those good drippings). and the CSR's

4:00 PM - Pulled St. Louis and the CSR's  wrapped in foil then back on the smoker, Pulled beans

                 and into a warm oven.

5:00 PM - Unwrapped  the St. Louis & CSR's then back on the smoker

5:45 PM - Ribs are ready    ------  "Lets Eat !! "

About a half a basket of charcoal to get it going Then I used Pecan the rest of the day

I used my Weed Burner / smoker starter to lite the charcoal and warm up my CC

St. Louis Ribs

Here is a shot of the St. Louis, CSR's and Beans

Removing the membrane from the St. Louis

I use Mustard or EVOO  we just had Hot Dogs for lunch so the mustard was out

A good coating of my Rub

Prepping the CSR's

Beans are off and ready to go into a warm oven

CSR's unwrapped and back on for a little bit

Great way to spend a Sunday...

Ribs and beans look fantastic. Bet they tasted great too.

CSR was handled same as ribs (rub, foil, etc.)?

Even the sweet potato looks great. Making my mouth watering on a cold, snowy day................

Great job !!!!!!

Thank you Slipaway

Nope---No more snow. In the last 4 days we got 1", 1'2", and 1", and that's it.

That's all we got here all season so far, but I'm not complaining.--- About 2 more months until Spring.
