WOW........ what a weekend for playoff's. I didn't feel like doing too much of anything today because this is the 2nd anniversary of my Jerry's passing. It's hard to believe it's been 2 years today my Jerry went home to heaven. So, in keeping with our Sunday Football tradition of "football munchies" I decided to make something I know Jerry would have loved. Thanks to Jeff Phillips for this recipe - Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob. Three of my neighbors stopped by to check on me right when I was taking my Bacon Wrapped Corn off the smoker.........You know they had to try one.........and they loved it... Thanks Jeff Phillips for making my day a little happier - your Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob recipe is awesome. I'm sure this will be my families favorite munchies. Here's my Q-views. I smoked a couple slabs of ribs also today.
I had 11 ears of corn in my freezer so I cooked all of them. I was smoking a few slabs of ribs today so I used pecan wood for this smoke.
I smoked my corn for about an hour and a half. After cooking time, the bacon was nice and chewy and my corn actually took on the flavor of bacon and pecan wood..............YUM
My ribs right before I wrapped them. Didn't take any more pics after they were done because they were devoured before I got my camera out lol...
My beagle, Sophie waiting for a sample of anything lol..............
I'm busy once again for the next couple of months but I promise to check in when I can. Have a great week everyone and make sure you try Jeff Phillips "Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob" recipe........It's off the charts good!
Be Blessed,
Josie
