Hello!!

I live in O'fallon Mo. The wife got me a Dyna Glo offset smoker for Christmas, today is the second time I've used it, liking it so far! It seems that with a full box of charcoal I can hold a 225 temp for two hours but then it drops off and I have to add coals, is this a normal problem? Thanks!!

Hey JG;  Welcome to the site.  I am not familiar with your smoker but did a quick search for it on the site's search engine.

Maybe you'll find some useful info here.

Great present from your wife! Welcome to SMF! Weather will have an effect on your smoker temp. Even in Florida we feel the effects on a cold day.
